This interactive session will challenge pre-conceived notions of planning and/or designing for learning and explore the notion of planning for significant learning. We will critically examine standard planning processes and the impact of these on student learning, paying particular attention to the role of challenge and creativity in establishing and supporting a learning environment.

University of Portsmouth National Teaching Fellow Dr Dave Allen will co-present on the day. He will share his practices and experiences with participants and will be available to explore, discuss and answer participants questions at the end of the session.

Please note that a £15 charge will be levied against University of Portsmouth Departments where a member of their staff has booked but not attended, unless DCQE has been notified of their absence at least 48 hours prior to the time of the event.
